The morning of the first day of the Integrated-ENT and Maxillofacial course will be dedicated to best introducing the participant to recognizing the most common occlusal splints used for the therapy of craniomandibular disorders. The role of the palate will be analyzed and some manual therapy techniques dedicated to this sensitive area of the mouth will be illustrated
From the morning of the second day, the maxillofacial surgery techniques most frequently encountered clinically in the craniomandibular field will be illustrated. The participant will be able to expand his knowledge of traumatic, oncological and orthognathic maxillofacial surgery. He will also be able to learn the rehabilitation protocols and techniques required in each situation.
The afternoon will end with an in-depth study of the facial nerve, the problems that can lead to paralysis and more classic but also more innovative rehabilitation techniques will be introduced, such as the use of emotions for faster recovery and recovery.
You will quickly have access to validated tools and techniques to successfully approach patients with ENT components and patients before and after maxillofacial surgery
You will have deepened your knowledge of the hyoid bone, its function, its evaluation and the various therapies that involve it
You will have understood the most used occlusal splints and the most frequent maxillofacial surgery techniques, in addition to the necessary rehabilitation given the possible outcomes, allowing the participant an easier insertion into surgical and dental contexts
